The live IELTS Academic pricing page showed the following standard totals in INR, without a coupon. Check the current page for your exam and currency before payment.

Each duration provides the same self-paced platform features: full-length IELTS mock tests, sectional tests, question practice, AI Speaking and Writing feedback, writing guides, grammar practice and prediction resources. Paid practice access is unlimited during the selected validity period. These are one-time payments with no automatic renewal; the pricing page states that applicable taxes are included.
BandLadder's wider libraries contain 30k+ IELTS questions and 25k+ PTE questions. Choose the exam you need: one active exam subscription is supported per account, so an IELTS pass should not be read as a combined IELTS-and-PTE purchase. The current platform offer is self-paced; a longer pass does not add unlimited human marking, a dedicated mentor or scheduled classes. AI scores are practice estimates, and prediction resources do not guarantee future exam questions.

IELTS preparation options: compare the actual offer
Amounts below remain in the currencies displayed by the providers. A seven-day pass, a six-month course and a teacher-reviewed assessment are different purchases. A low headline price alone does not establish better feedback or a better exam result.
Magoosh: longer self-study access with AI feedback
Magoosh's IELTS plans page listed Premium at US$109 for one month and US$129 for six months, before additional promotional codes. Its listed features include up to ten full mock tests, more than 120 video lessons, 850 practice questions, unlimited AI Speaking and Writing grading, a score predictor and study schedules.
Compare this if you want a longer lesson-and-practice programme. Ask-an-Expert access is listed separately from AI grading; do not treat it as unlimited human marking of every answer. The page also offers a seven-day trial and describes a score guarantee with conditions to review before purchase.
E2Language: distinguish self-study from teacher feedback
The E2Language IELTS General page showed Express at US$75.90 for 90 days and Express+ at US$97.90 for 90 days, with GST included in the displayed prices. Express+ adds a teacher-graded mock test. The comparison lists 25 live classes for both entry packages; higher tiers provide different quantities of assessments and tutorials.
This is useful to compare if scheduled teaching or human feedback matters to you. Check the Academic package separately if that is your exam. Do not assume every E2 tier includes the same teacher reviews, or compare its 90-day total with a 15-day pass as if the durations were equal.
LeapScholar: a low-cost course with a defined resource set
LeapScholar's self-preparation course page displayed ₹99 and three months of study-material and video access. It advertises 100+ video lessons and 50+ mock tests across sections. Its FAQ breaks these into 13 Listening, 13 Reading, 13 Writing and 12 Speaking tests; these should not be represented as 50 complete four-skill exams.
The page says selected mocks receive trainer feedback and lists a 0–2-day turnaround for Writing evaluation. Confirm the current feedback entitlement and delivery arrangements. Its resource count does not, by itself, prove a limit on repeat attempts. This offer is separate from admissions-counselling packages.
BestMyTest: check the review allowance as well as the duration
The BestMyTest IELTS plans page reviewed displayed a US$49 seven-day plan. It listed unlimited instant Speaking/Writing scoring and feedback, five AI deep-feedback assessments and no teacher Speaking or Writing reviews for that plan. Longer packages have different review allowances.
The page served a localised version during this check. Confirm your selected language, package, currency and review credits at checkout. In particular, do not assume “unlimited instant feedback” means unlimited teacher corrections or unlimited use of every assessment service.
Alfa IELTS: free, Premium and Premium Plus have different access
The Alfa IELTS feature table lists a free tier with limited questions and AI scoring, one full mock and one sectional mock. Paid tiers advertise 12,000+ practice questions and unlimited AI scoring and mock access. Premium Plus adds trainer evaluation.
A reliable current currency-and-duration price was not available in the page text reviewed, so this guide does not assign it a price. That is a limitation of this comparison, not evidence that the provider hides prices. Confirm the selected plan and trainer credits in its live purchase flow.
IELTS Online Tests: compare a course with a course
The IELTS Online Tests self-study catalogue displayed an IELTS Speaking & Writing course at US$29.99 for 31 days and an IELTS Package at US$69.99 for 24 weeks. The package lists seven courses, including Listening/Reading and Speaking/Writing.
Those are specific course offers. Separate AI evaluation, human evaluation and credit purchases should be checked as separate services; a credit-purchase amount is not a reliable price for the whole platform. Identify which feedback your selected course includes before comparing totals.
British Council IELTS Ready: check what your test booking includes
British Council IELTS Ready lists a free preparation tier and Premium included when you book an eligible test with the British Council. The published comparison shows two full mocks for the free tier and 40 for Premium, with Reading/Listening scores and model answers. It lists AI-feedback upgrades separately.
Check eligibility and the exact included feedback before buying another preparation package. A preparation benefit bundled with a paid exam booking is different from a standalone free subscription. Other British Council courses are separate products. This guide does not quote an IDP Prep Hub upgrade price because its current offer could not be verified in this check.
Which access period fits your actual study plan?
Start with your exam date and the days you can realistically study. Then decide whether you need repeated self-paced practice, structured lessons, teacher feedback or a combination. These fictional examples illustrate budgeting, not predicted score improvements.
Example 1: your test is in 12 days and you can practise daily
If you have already learned the format and need practice throughout those 12 days, a 15-day BandLadder pass covers that window. At the checked prices, two separate seven-day passes would cost ₹998, while the 15-day pass costs ₹799: a ₹199 difference. This arithmetic does not mean 15 days is enough to reach your target. Try the relevant task and feedback first, then decide whether the platform suits you.
Example 2: your test is six weeks away and you need teacher comments
A short pass may expire before you can use it consistently. Compare a longer access period with a course that includes the teacher reviews you need. BandLadder's two-month platform price is ₹2,299, but increasing its duration does not add human marking. Budget for the actual service you require and check teacher availability, turnaround and credits before paying.
Five checks before buying any IELTS preparation plan
- Exam: verify Academic or General Training, especially the Reading and Writing content.
- Time: confirm the activation date, expiry and whether a pause is supported.
- Feedback: separate automatic answer checks, AI analysis and human marking. Read one example of the feedback you will receive.
- Price: confirm currency, taxes, coupon eligibility, total payment and any renewal or instalment commitment.
- Fit: try a relevant exercise, read the refund conditions and check that your device supports the practice you need.
Question-bank size is useful for repeated practice, but it does not establish scoring quality. A practice score is not an official IELTS result. Look for feedback that helps you identify a specific weakness and improve the next answer, rather than selecting a service only because it predicts a high band.
