These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including the BandLadder IELTS and PTE plugins in ChatGPT.
The BandLadder platform provides:
Practice services: Our ChatGPT plugins provide exam practice, BandLadder AI scoring, feedback and links to relevant BandLadder resources. Speaking practice opens the BandLadder website recorder, and the plugin can retrieve the result of your recorded attempt. In-card microphone recording is not currently provided.
Linked accounts and limits: Account-specific tools require your authorization to link a BandLadder account for the relevant exam. Your account's practice limits and existing entitlements apply. A plugin connection does not purchase or change a subscription, and purchases are not offered inside the plugins.
Your submissions: Submit only content you have the right to use. Scored attempts and feedback are saved to your BandLadder history and requested results are returned to ChatGPT as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect in ChatGPT's settings; saved attempts remain subject to BandLadder's account deletion process.
Practice estimates: AI scores, corrections, rewrites and coaching are educational guidance and may contain errors. They are not official IELTS or PTE results and do not guarantee a particular exam score. BandLadder is an independent preparation service and is not the official IELTS or PTE testing provider.
Third-party service: Your use of ChatGPT is also governed by OpenAI's applicable terms and policies. Plugin availability can depend on ChatGPT, BandLadder and their service providers.
Account Creation: You must create an account to access certain features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
Account Security: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms.
Subscription Fees: Access to premium features requires payment of subscription fees. All fees are non-refundable except as stated in our refund policy.
Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Our Rights: The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, modify, and display such content.
Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our written permission.
Our guides, score tables, practice questions, model answers, explanations and study material are original works written by BandLadder and are protected by copyright. © Bandladder Private Limited. All rights reserved except as set out below.
Quoting and citing: You may quote short extracts, cite facts or reproduce individual tables from our public pages, including in articles, course notes, social posts and AI-generated answers, provided you credit "BandLadder" and link to the page you used (for example: Source: BandLadder, https://bandladder.com/guides/…).
What needs written permission: republishing a whole page, practice set, question bank or model answer; copying our content into another test-prep website, app, book or course; and bulk scraping or compiling our content into datasets. Write to legal@bandladder.com to ask.
Using our content without attribution, or beyond these limits, infringes our copyright and we may ask hosts and search engines to remove it.
