Chargers questions with sample answers

1

Do you often carry a charger with you when you go out?

Yes, almost always. I get quite anxious if my mobile phone battery drops below twenty per cent, so I usually keep a compact fast charger in my rucksack. Just the other day, it saved me when I needed to check train times on the way home from work.

2

How many chargers do you usually have at home?

Quite a few, actually. Between my laptop, tablet, and phone, there must be at least four or five plugged in around my flat. I try to keep them tidy, but I usually end up with a bit of a tangled mess behind my bedside table.

3

Have you ever forgotten to bring your charger with you?

Definitely, more times than I'd like to admit. Last month, I went on a weekend trip to visit a friend and completely left my lead behind. I had to pop into a corner shop at the station to buy an overpriced replacement.

4

Do you prefer using wired chargers or wireless ones?

I definitely prefer standard wired ones. Wireless charging looks sleek, but it tends to be quite slow and makes the back of the device heat up. A fast-charging cable gets the job done in half the time, which suits me much better.

5

Do you think electronic devices will still need chargers in the future?

I suppose so, but they might look completely different. We will probably move towards fully wireless pads built into furniture, or devices powered by ambient solar light. It would be brilliant if we never had to worry about plugging anything in again.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
