Concentration questions with sample answers

1

What makes you hard to concentrate?

Constant notifications on my smartphone are definitely my biggest distraction. Whenever my screen lights up with a social media alert, I find it incredibly difficult to resist checking it, which inevitably breaks my flow and ruins my productivity for the rest of the hour.

2

Can you concentrate when being in a noisy place?

Honestly, I struggle quite a bit in loud environments. Unless I have noise-cancelling headphones to create a personal bubble, background chatter or construction work makes it nearly impossible for me to dedicate my full attention to complex tasks or deep reading.

3

How can you concentrate on something for a long time?

I find that using the Pomodoro technique works wonders for maintaining my focus. By breaking my work into twenty-five-minute intense sprints followed by short breaks, I manage to stay mentally sharp and avoid the fatigue that usually kicks in during longer sessions.

4

Where would you like to go to concentrate better?

A quiet, minimalist library would be my ideal sanctuary for getting things done. The atmosphere of collective silence there is infectious, and being surrounded by other focused individuals helps me get into the right mindset to tackle challenging projects without any external interruptions.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.

Two or three sentences, about 15 to 20 seconds: a direct answer, a reason and one detail. One-word answers cost fluency marks, and long speeches eat into the examiner's time.
