The sea questions with sample answers

1

Do you like to go on holiday by sea?

I absolutely adore coastal getaways because the sound of the crashing waves is incredibly therapeutic. Whenever I have the chance, I try to head to a quiet beach resort to escape the daily grind and just unwind by the shoreline for a few days.

2

Are there many hotels by the sea in your country?

Actually, my country boasts an extensive coastline, so there are countless accommodation options ranging from luxury resorts to quaint bed and breakfasts. Many of these properties are strategically positioned to offer guests panoramic views of the ocean, which makes them very popular with tourists.

3

What kind of activities can people do by the sea?

There is a huge variety of things to do, whether you prefer something active or relaxing. Many visitors enjoy water sports like surfing and snorkelling, while others simply prefer sunbathing or taking long, leisurely strolls along the sand to collect seashells.

4

How long do people normally visit the sea when they go on holiday?

Most travellers typically spend about a week by the coast to fully recharge their batteries. A seven-day trip seems to be the sweet spot, as it allows enough time for both adventurous excursions and plenty of downtime without feeling rushed.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
