Bicycles questions with sample answers

1

How popular are bicycles in your hometown?

Cycling is incredibly widespread in my city, as the local government has invested heavily in dedicated lanes. Most residents prefer commuting by bike during the morning rush hour to bypass the heavy traffic congestion that plagues the city centre every single day.

2

How often do you ride a bicycle?

I try to hop on my bike at least three or four times a week for short trips. It is my preferred way to reach the nearby local market, as it saves me the frustration of searching for a parking space in such a busy neighbourhood.

3

Do you think that bicycles are suitable for all ages?

Absolutely, though the type of bicycle should be adjusted based on the rider's physical ability. While young children start with balance bikes, elderly riders often find that modern electric-assist models provide the extra support needed to navigate hills without overexerting themselves.

4

What are the advantages of a bicycle compared to a car?

The most significant benefit is the sheer convenience of being immune to road traffic. Furthermore, cycling is a carbon-neutral mode of transport, which makes it a much more environmentally friendly choice for those who are conscious of their personal carbon footprint.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
